Privacy Policy
MHJ LLC, doing business as MHJ Real Estate Media ("MHJ", "we", "us" or "our"), operates mhjrealestate.com and produces listing videos for real estate professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email maytham@mhjrealestate.com.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors to mhjrealestate.com, anyone who submits a form or joins one of our lists, and clients who purchase our services. Our services are directed to real estate agents, teams, brokerages and developers — business users — not to consumers shopping for a home.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, business email address, and mobile or business phone number.
- Project details — property or listing address, listing information, timelines, the package you select, and anything you write in a message or intake form.
- Materials you send us — photos, video clips, floor plans, logos, branding and copy provided so we can produce your video.
- Order and billing details — items purchased and billing contact information. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not collect or store full card numbers.
- Communication preferences — whether you opted in to email updates and, separately, to text messages.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location, collected through our website host and standard analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.
3. How we use information
- To answer enquiries, quote work and schedule consultations.
- To produce, revise and deliver the video work you order.
- To process orders, invoices and monthly subscriptions.
- To send service messages about your order — confirmations, delivery links and scheduling.
- To send marketing emails and, if you separately opted in, marketing text messages.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Text message (SMS) program
We operate an SMS program for real estate professionals and clients who ask to receive it.
- Opt-in. We send marketing text messages only to people who provide a mobile number and separately check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, or who otherwise give us express written consent. The box is never pre-checked.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You never have to agree to receive texts in order to buy anything from us.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply; MHJ does not charge for the messages.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation and no further marketing messages.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email maytham@mhjrealestate.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share mobile information with subcontractors who provide support services to us — for example the messaging platform that delivers our texts — solely so they can perform those services on our behalf, and they may not use it for their own marketing. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third parties.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- Service providers — website hosting, scheduling, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing and file transfer, each acting on our instructions.
- Legal — where required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- Business transfer — if MHJ is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are excluded from any sharing for marketing or promotional purposes, as stated in Section 4.
6. Your materials and finished videos
Photos, clips and listing details you send us are used to produce your order. We keep a working copy for a reasonable period so we can re-deliver or revise it. We may show finished work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to — email us and we will remove it.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide the services, meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Marketing contact records are kept until you unsubscribe or opt out, plus a short period so we can honour that request.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
9. Your choices and rights
- Email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Text messages — reply STOP to any message.
- Access, correction and deletion — email maytham@mhjrealestate.com. Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to opt out of certain processing. We respond within the time required by applicable law.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access-controlled accounts and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for business users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Third-party links
Our site links to third-party services such as our scheduler and store checkout. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed, and material changes will be posted on this page.
